Currently, with 31 million monthly downloads, this local tech company has become the undisputed leader in the freemium segment worldwide, surpassing its direct competitor, the North American Shutterstock.
Although it has a very strong presence in Latin America, Europe, North Africa and Southeast Asia, Freepik aims to continue expanding its presence on a global scale and strengthen its brand reputation, in addition to enhancing communication in languages other than English & Spanish. After reaching an impressive number of half a million subscribers, Freepik needed to translate their communications simultaneously into 10 languages for Freepik and 6 languages for Flaticon. After the unsuccessful use of an online platform for the most urgent translations, Freepik faced various quality problems and excessive waiting times. Therefore, Freepik needed a provider capable of managing highly atomized and diverse translation orders, coming from its very different departments, in multiple formats and a large number of languages in very demanding deadlines.
