01/Client

Moda re- is a nonprofit social cooperative that has become a leader in textile collection and recycling in Spain. A social initiative by Cáritas, it operates more than 170 retail locations across Spain (140 stores and 30 shop-in-shop spaces in Alcampo shopping centers) and collaborates with major brands such as Inditex, Mango, and Decathlon. Moda re- is committed to creating inclusive employment opportunities and promoting sustainability.

The cooperative operates recycling facilities in several Spanish cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Valencia.

Moda re-‘s social and environmental impact has earned widespread recognition. On October 8, the cooperative received the Fundación MAPFRE Social Award in the Social Enterprise category for its contribution to inclusive employment and its circular economy business model. In fact, its facilities dedicated to sorting and preparing textiles for reuse and recycling now cover more than 40,000 square meters.

In recent years, Moda re- has also launched innovative initiatives such as Moda re- en ruta, a mobile store that brings sustainable fashion to less populated areas.

02/The Challenge

As Moda re- expanded across Spain and experienced significant growth in its projects, the cooperative needed to adapt its digital presence to reach a broader, more diverse audience.

The organization was looking for a language services partner that could help it connect with customers across Spain and internationally. This required localizing its website content from Spanish into English, Catalan, Basque, Galician, and Valencian.

Moda re- also needed to ensure that its brand messaging, centered on sustainability and inclusive employment, remained consistent across all language versions of its website and social media channels. A key priority was preserving its brand identity in every language while staying true to its values and philosophy.

The cooperative also wanted to improve its social media strategy by optimizing resources, reducing costs, and establishing more consistent metrics that accurately reflected its growth.

03/The Solution

To address these challenges, Nóvalo developed a tailored solution focused on website localization into English and Spain’s different regional languages, alongside an SEO strategy designed to improve search engine rankings and increase brand awareness nationwide.

From the outset, close collaboration with Moda re- was essential. Working directly with its team allowed us to preserve the brand’s identity across languages and ensure that every version of its content accurately reflected its style, tone of voice, and values.

Through these solutions, Moda re- aims to achieve greater consistency in its multilingual communications, helping strengthen its brand presence across all regions of Spain.

A solid, cohesive SEO strategy is also expected to improve the cooperative’s search engine visibility and communications with its customers. These services will also help Moda re- strengthen its social media presence and reach a wider audience.
